1.8 Most calcium supplements combinations only contain 500 - 600 mg calcium per tablet as one can only absorb 500 mg calcium at a time, however the recommended need for daily calcium supplementation is between 600 - 1 200 mg calcium.  If there is a need to increase the preferred calcium supplementation to be above 500 - 600 mg per day, how will the Vitamin D3 strength in a combination calcium supplement influence your decision?
1.9 In your own opinion, what do you think is a suitable recommended strength of Vitamin D3 in a combination calcium supplementation?

1.10 If a combination calcium supplement contains 500 mg calcium and 1 000 IU Vitamin D3 and there is a need to increase the calcium concentration to 1 000 mg of calcium per day, would you be comfortable to double up on the Vitamin D3 in the combination?
